Mr. Darren D. Pynn, AIA LEED AP (President) has an extensive background in client and multi-discipline consultant coordination, quality control, design development, construction documents, and project management. His expertise has encompassed the design and project management of transportation developments, industrial and commercial buildings, educational, hospital, community and civic facilities and several municipal master planning efforts. He has a depth of experience in other diverse project types including residential low-income, senior care, mixed-use, single-family tract and custom housing. Additionally, he was involved with hospitality design and preparation of contract documents for national hotel/motel chain and high-end resort development projects including space planning, atria design and service industry coordination.
Mr. Pynn is an advocate of sustainable building design, urban planning and site selection, in addition to being a LEED" Accredited Professional with a proven record of resourceful program evaluation and dynamic planning solutions. He is a participating member of the City of Pasadena, Green Building Program, Green Ribbon Committee and the Pasadena and Foothill Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He is also an active participant in ACE, an organization of professional Architects, Contractors and Engineers who mentor high school students, exposing them to the building professions and has participated in the RCC-sponsored TOPS program for student interns. Mr. Pynn is active in many community and non-profit organizations.
As President and managing principal of Miralles Associates, Inc. (MAI), Mr. Pynn oversees the implementation of quality control/quality assurance protocol and directs project management strategies office-wide. He is a results-driven contract administrator and director of document production committed to quality design services, design development, construction drawings and extensive construction observation experience leading to timely project close-out.
